Picked up the Heritage last week......just a fine firearm. Fit and finish are awesome, and so far, flawless. Only run about 100 rounds at this point, but I'm very happy with my purchase.

I've run about 75 rounds through it thus far.......no issues at all. Hoping to spend a little time at the range this week as well. It seems to shoot quite well, though a little left.....nothing a quick adjustment can't fix though. This is my 2nd 1911, first being a Range Officer......the RO is a nice pistol, but this DW is Wonderful.

looks great with those grips-- a fine shooter at a great price. My only gripe over the years I have owned one( my 1st 1911 and my 1st .45 acp)is that the slide gets small light scratches from time to time

some scotch brite , a dremel and silichrome fix those --no problem
