Can an initial post be moved to a new area

I started a thread in the magazine area and upon reflection decided that it would get more relevant activity under the gun smithing area. I apologize for not consulting with you about where it should be posted before I started.
Is it possible for me to move or copy the posting or do I start a new one in the smithing area?
Thanks for you time on our behalf,

    The canted follower thread?

A moderator can move it, but IMHO it is a magazine question and belongs in the "Magazines" discussion area. I suggest you send a PM to John and ask him -- he's the boss.

Please do not start a second thread on the same topic. That's a direct violation of forum rules.
