    Engraved A231

    imag.jpg

I bought this Randall not too long ago. It is engraved in kind of a jungle motif. There are leaves and vines and a snake. The engraving looks like someone did it with a machine. I guess it would be too much to hope for that this was done at the factory. I'm pretty sure someone did this after it left the factory but it never hurts to ask. I'll try to take better pictures when I have a chance.

Yes, it is kind of a shame for someone to have messed with a Randall. I imagine when they did it, it was just just a 1911 type they could try out their Dremel tool on that they wouldn't have to reblue or renickle. Too bad they didn't pick an AMT instead. Maybe I'll put some fancy grips on it (think cubic zirconium) and use it for a barbque gun.
