Other than the manufacturer and length, it does not appear to be much different than my 20+ year old JA Ciener 5"conversion kit. Mine runs just fine with subsonic, SV, HV ammo, but I have no info about any other products that Ciener has marketed since 1992. Mine does not have the Bomar type rear sight (and I think that the pics show a very rough front and rear sights/slide finish on your gun). Also, the barrel/slide seems to be misaligned at the muzzle. Also, NO machine marks? I have a 1992 AMT Hardballer that has less machine marks on the slide and most folks won't even entertain looking at it because of AMT's rep.

Two photos of my Olympic Arms (parked) bare frame build using SARCO/Numrich/ Wolff parts with the Ciener conversion (fixed sights). 5# trigger pull and 19# mainspring.

Just wonder what that little IJ cost is. I paid $150 for a Ciener conversion kit with a 15 rd. mag back then, so lets hear what it costs in 2015 $.

The IJ design appears to be the same as Ciener. Ciener supplied kits for Wilson Combat at one time. I'm curious if the IJ is a rebranded manufactured Ciener. Ciener never offered a dovetailed front sight but this could have been specified by IJ.

Ciener is a Cape Canveral which is very close to Iver Johnson in Rockledge Fl, stranger things have happened.
