Does anyone think Auto-Ordance will start producing the Pit Bull pistol again

Had one in the early 1970's for about three years but sold it, like a fool.
it shot good and as long as I kept it clean, used ball ammo and changed out the
recoil spring every 500 rounds it worked 100% with 7 round full size mags,
would like to get another for every day carry.

My contacts at Kahr Auto-Ordnance have never mentioned the Pit Bull -- which, of course, doesn't mean they aren't talking about it internally. However, they are scaling back their operation and reducing staff, so I think it's unlikely they would be introducing a new (to Kahr) model of 1911.

Take a look at the Rock Island CS (Compact Size).

I have to say that the new AO makes an excellent 1911, I have one and love it but it is no longer a bare bones 1911. I've been hoping for a couple of years that they would come out with a higher end 1911, I would have grabbed one. The just isn't enough of a market for a bare bones GI 1911 to keep them afloat which is a shame because they certainly have the capability.

They do make the 1911TC, which is quite nice. I think any additional, compact, performance, etc, will come from their Desert Eagle brand.
