Help from the Les Baer Community Please.

I am considering the purchase of a new Les Baer and am torn between The Premier II and The S USA . I'd assume that both are identical with the exception of the ambi safety? Next, will all Les Baer's shoot with the same degree of accuracy ie: 3 inch groups ? And lastly... if I want sort of a hybrid ( carry / competition) firearm which way should I lean and if not one of these which model should I consider? This will be my first and likely only higher end gun and I can't afford a mistake from the start so I need input from the group.

Thanks so very much for the kind help.
    Regards JacK

I think all 5" LB guns will shoot 3" or better. LB guns are all built to the same degree of quality assembly. The difference being features and on many of the guns there is also the option of 1.5" groups. I suggest you decide which options you want/need. Give Crazy John at CJ's 1911 Heaven a call and he can be help you shed light on what you will be most likely looking for. A word of caution, these guns are addictive. I want one and ended up with several.

I have heard a number of people say they did not want to pay extra for the 1.5 inch guarantee but got it anyway. Meaning the regular pistol performed that well.

I second Joni's recommendation to call CJ!
