    I know that Ciener mags work with Kimber conversions, and Kimber mags work with Ciener conversions.

    I can't help beyond that.

    This is what I have so far;

    GSG, I understand Kimber and ProMag work but may need to be fitted (over sized)
    Colt/Walther - do not interchange with GSG or 1911 22 conversion kits
    Chiappa - ?
    Rock Island Armory - ?
    Kimber - GSG/Sig - ProMag - Ciener (if you can find them) - are interchangeable, if I understand correctly the Kimber mags do not lock the slide back on an empty mag.
    Ciener - as far as I can tell you can't get these anymore (midwayusa shows them as discontinued) Kimber work
    Colt Ace - Hard to find, see some used ones on ebay
    Marvel - uses GSG mags for their lock back model
    Jarvis - ?
    Advantage Arms - Look to be the same as Kimber except the lock the slide on empty
    Nighthawk/Nelson conversion - interchangeable with Kimber and Advantage Arms, lock back on empty.

    The RIA dedicated 22 LR pistol will use Kimber polymer mags. The Advantage Arms 1911 mags will work with some versions of the Marvel conversion.

    It seems the information here could be useful to many members, so I made this thread a sticky.

    Up date;

    These are the clones and conversion kits I found information on (this info was gathered from several forums and is not from my personal experiences).

    GSG - plastic body mags may have to be fitted (sanded thinner and maybe adjusted at the base plate)

    Rock Island Armory - ProMag - Ciener - Kimber interchange and do not lock back on empty. Colt Ace mags do not cycle

    Kimber - GSG/Sig - ProMag - Ciener (if you can find them) - are interchangeable, if I understand correctly the Kimber mags do not lock the slide back on an empty mag. Colt Ace mags do not cycle.

    Ciener - as far as I can tell you can't get these anymore (midwayusa shows them as discontinued)

    Colt Ace - Hard to find, see some used ones on ebay

    Marvel - uses GSG mags for their lock back model. Advantage Arms mags interchange and lock back on empty.

    Jarvis - Colt - Advantage Arms - Ciener mags interchange.

    Advantage Arms - Look to be the same as Kimber except the lock the slide on empty

    Nighthawk/Nelson conversion - interchangeable with Kimber and Advantage Arms, lock back on empty.

    Colt/Walther - do not interchange with GSG or 1911 22 conversion kits
    Chiappa - do not interchange with GSG or 1911 22 conversion kits

    On reviewing the information gathered, it looks like most clones and conversions mags interchange, and the difference is if the magazine was designed to engage the slide stop or not.

    Kimber, RIA, some Marvel and ProMag mags followers do not engage the slide stop. The other clones and conversion mags fit and function but will have to have the engagement removed so not to lock the slide back on empty.

    GSG, Ciener, Advantage Arms and Nelson mags interchange and lock the slide back on empty, but the plastic body mags may need to be fitted to get them to function properly in the GSG. The lock back group can use the none lock back mags if you are not concerned with the slide not lock back on empty.

    Brownells has their own 1911 22lr 10rds mags for 1911 conversions, priced at $22.00, and is compatible with, Marvel, Nighthawk/Nelson, Advantage Arms, Kimber, Ciener, STI, and Tactical Solutions.

    It does not work in a Colt Ace.

    As far as I know, Ciener magazines are still available from Ciener directly. Both Brownells and Midway discontinued Ciener products because he was so difficult to deal with, not because his products weren't available.

    CDNN used to carry replacement Colt Ace magazines, made by Metalform. I bought three of them, and they were so tight that it wasn't possible to unsert a round into the magazine. I used a quarter-inch steel rod to open up the feed lips on one, then I gave up and put them aside.
