    Introduction of the S-Class.

I just may have a new "Favorite" on my list of future 1911's. :-)
    Just read this: http://forum.m1911.org/showthread.ph...of-the-S-Class

In case you are not using the Fibonacci Gauge in your designs yet, this has been on my tool wall for a long time now.
Of course now one can purchase it on-line.

    Just ordered my first

I have waited for a Commander S 103 version and placed my order yesterday.
    Now the shorter wait begins!

Cabot S103 finally arrived. Worth the wait!

I have to hold it for a couple of weeks (birthday gift), but am anxious to take it to the range..

Wow! Looks awesome! I'd like to hear how things go when you get it to the range.

    Cabot S103 Range Report

Today I shot another 250 rounds on top of 150 rounds I shot 2 days prior. I ran a total of 5 types of magazines and 10 in total. All 10 magazines ran like a charm. I have had only 4 jams and two were early up with HST Federal ammo and two were a result of lack of lube and HST wide mouth Federal ammo. It is shooting HST Tactical, Black Hills HP, Hornady +P TAP and Freedom HP now without any problems. I have no issues with FMJ ammunitions. Therefore, it took a bit of lube and 300 rounds to run flawless. The pistol is like a fine machine and a little oil helps. I plan to run another 200 rounds thru it and will then break it down and thoroughly clean and lube it. I do shoot a bit to the left at 30 feet, but it is me. Great trigger and I really like the Gold Bead front sight Rob added at my request. The pistol's weight and balance is perfect in the hand. I stopped carrying a 1911 years ago, but this one would be a great choice.
