Aww... so no nine, then.

I thought Browning was doing a 1911 in .380 this year….
If you're referring to that miniature one, I'm not sure it really is a 1911... not in the sense that any of its parts would be compatible with those of a 1911 pistol, that is. It sure looks like one, though.

That is very tempting, but I wonder if it will be a "pleasure" to shoot with self defense ammo. I own one of the XDs 45ACP which is a little lighter than that speck, maybe a quarter pound or so. That little rascal is NOT fun to shoot with full power rounds. Thus, not conducive for practice. I developed some Trailboss powered 185 SWC rounds that are OK for plinking/practice. We might tend to resort to such with this 1911, IF it will cycle such rounds.

Ha. Just saw this thread again. I just bought one of these last week. They look very nice with the thin grips and the grooved front of the frame. Need to look at Ezine. It will be interesting to see how it shoots. I was very interested in the Titanium insert in the ramp.

What ever it might be it will not be available here in California anyway.
Ruger has stated they will not introduce any new guns in California . . . . .
SIGH . . . . WHIMPER . . . . Sputter . . . . . and all that stuff.
S&W said the same thing . . . .
We have Kamala Harris to thank for that.

Let's not allow this thread to drift into politics, or we'll have to close it.
