I don't know if the new slide profile represents a new direction for the SIG 1911 or if this is simply a one off departure. I hope it's a new direction. I like the smooth flats.

I have the Super Target Stainless and love it. It has been accurate and flawless in feeding all ammo even my JHPs. Something that makes my Kimbers jealous. I think the grip is great for Bullseye shooting but I do use 10 round mags because seating the 8 rounders is more difficult. If I was going to use it in some practical competition; USPSA and such I would change the grips. Those beautiful Nils would not stand up to constant, rapid mag changes.

I also recently purchased a Sig "Max" 1911 and that also is a great shooter with a slightly more traditional slide shape.
Why are we asked to not judge all Muslims by those few invested in terror? BUT . . . we are asked to judge all gun owners by those few radicals.
