Took it out to the range once so far. The pistol woked faultlessly through the supplied magazine. When I put in a second third party magazine, all kinds of failures to feed. Yet another 3rd party magazine also worked faultlessly. As a matter of fact, all other mags worked faultlessly. Accuracy was acceptable, but the day was really windy. Need a calmer day or use an indoor range to see if it groups as well as my two other 10mm's. Failed to feed one reload, but the other 10mm I brought that day didn't feed that round either. Fired 24 factory Underwood and 16 Ted Nugent 180 grain rounds, and about 100 of my favorite 185 grain reloads.

Have you tried using Metalform magazines? What are your thoughts on the Underwood ammunition?
    Are the 185gr handloads hardcast?

I loaded some 180gr Lasercast with W231 and it's a very soft shooting combination, brass ejects close.

Yeah, most of my mags are metalforms. The problem child wasn't. I really can't offer much on the Underwood. It seemed about as accurate as the Nugent and my reloads. I don't have a chrony, though, and Underwood is supposed to be very high velocity stuff. No ideas on expansion or anything, I was just punching holes in paper.

I was wondering about Underwood because of its SAAMI ++ velocities and their warning not to use their ammunition in Colt Delta Elites. At Underwood 10mm velocities, I believe that many of the .40S&W design bullets are over stressed at personal defense distances and may under penetrate.
