RRA Basic Limited Match w/ naked slide??

Hi - trying to get some info on a Basic LM that doesn't have any markings on the left side of slide...vs the ones having 1911-A1 stamped on them. Did RRA produce some of these without roll markings? Attached is a pic and trying to make sure the roll marks were not removed aftermarket. Thanks!

RRAs originally came without any markings on the slide. I don't recall what year it happened but the BATF at one point instructed RRA the slide had to designate what the gun was on the slide. RRA kept it as simple as possible.

Nice clean slide as opposed to the billboards that are now common.
