Southern Grind Folder and BenchMade Fixed Blade

I got the SG Bad Monkey in early November, and it's a very good heavy use knife.

The BenchMade Bone Collector found it's way home last week (a B-day present from the wife), is a nice little fixed blade and will serve well for an "all around" camp knife.

I rubbed some Tru-Oil into the walnut scales, which were pale and muddy looking. The oil finish darkened the walnut a bit, and made the grain pop.

The leather sheath appears to be of pretty good quality, too.

How are you liking that bone collector? Hold up to the benchmade reputation?

Yes, it is, but it won't get much use anymore until next hunting season.

The SG folder has been getting quite a workout, and is more than up to the task.
