Anyone running a weapons mounter light/laser

Looking for the best weapons mounted laser light combo. Really don't want to send $500 on a Surefire but I want quality.

Not on a 1911, but have been playing with a green LASER on my Ruger 10/22 rifle. These are interesting. Not sure about sizes, etc for a 1911, but read all the instructions and be careful if you get one.

I have a Streamlight TLR-2 HL on my Benelli M2. It is a high quality unit and the 630 lumen light is amazing.
