I started as a customer of Luke's, and over the last couple of years we've become friends.
I own a high definition film production company here in Houston, and on one of my visits to Luke's shop, I proposed shooting a short film about him so that people could meet the man behind this fine craftsmanship, and see how he makes his guns.
My crew and I made a sojourn up the mountain about a year ago for principal photography, and I made a couple of return trips every time I traveled to Colorado, working on films for some of our aerospace clients. During production, I shot a lot of Luke's pistols out on the range behind the shop - Precisions, .45s with surpressors, the prototype of his 9mm, and others. He is now building me a 9mm for competition.
Anyway, here is the finished short, which will soon be up on the VP website. I hope you like it:

p.s. The guy in the red flannel is yours truly, shooting my daily carry piece, a stainless Combat Carry.
