Stolen - Matching Day Conversion 1911's

It is with extreme heartbreak and nausea that I report the theft of two matching Bob Day built Day Conversions. These were built by the man himself in 1971 for use with the US Air Force Gold team, and I later used them both when shooting on the US Shooting Team. They were at my father's house, in his competition gun box, and someone took all 5 of his 3-gun arsenal. I'll outline the others in a separate post.

Dad is working on getting the serial numbers, but I thought that the uniqueness of Day Conversions might make them conspicuous. If you see or hear of any for sale in the Southwest, please let me know immediately.

Sorry to hear of this. This post and your other post of your stolen guns makes me nausious...so sad. Certainly post the serial numbers, pics if you have them, so we can all keep our eyes open at guns shows, etc.
