Well, I stand corrected... on whether or not they exist, that is, because now I'm sure they won't work on several brands of 1911s with slightly different triggerguards (e.g. RIAs, but also some Colts from the 70s), and now it looks like they won't work unless your gun has an undercut frontstrap!

And it will still upset the authorities in a few places around the world, if/when they want to read your gun's serial number.

And I thought the thread was going to be about hex screws?

Hard to say for sure, the video makes it look like there is enough material on the front portion of the trigger guard, and there is a bit on the bottom as well.
Their faq say's it was tested with a number of makes of 1911's and fit's well. I think it will probably fit a wide enough variety of makes, but how securely is another question.

The faq page also mentions it will work with one of the Fobus holsters (not a fan of them myself) so there is apparently at least one option for a holster (out side of making one yourself).

You're right that there would be an issue with the serial number being covered in certain locales, but even that may not really be a problem, as the only shipping reference I can find is for the US and I don't think it's an issue here since it isn't a permanent modification.

That is the most retarded thing I have ever seen! What a way to destroy a perfectly good Colt
