    Not much activity

Not much activity on the Volkmann Thread. I think I was last guy to post and it was quite some time ago. What's going on guys?
    Best Regards,

    Jeff

Maybe you missed a couple of posts on the Pictures Thread? I've been too busy shooting my pistols to post

I have Luke building me up my second Colt upgrade. I have a new all Volkmann on order but that'll be about this time next year. I've had them all, Nighthawk, EB, DW, Wilson, and Springfield but my Volkmann is by far the best. This time I'm buying a full size Colt as he already did a commander for me, I need to kick this addiction!

I just sent in a build sheet so I can post something in about a year. It will be my first custom gun so I am psyched. Now I just have to wait for a really long time. Won't even be able to shoot USPSA with it until the 2015 season. Ugh, I shouldn't have written a date it seems really far away.

Trust me, you won't be sorry and it'll be worth the wait. At least you are getting in for 2014. I think he has room for only 3 or 4 more in 2014. Congrats!

Thanks! I am psyched. These things are a sickness though. I started with a Remington R1 Enhanced. Made it about 3 months before I ended up with a Dan Wesson V-bob. I waited a year before a Brazos 2011 to shoot Limited and now the Volkmann. Good thing the wife doesn't look in my safe.

Heard that, if you would have told me 3 years ago that I'd be spending almost $4K on a 1911, I would have said no way but now it's worth every dollar and then some. Thankfully my wife doesn't care!

My wife wants one of her own. We ordered it and should be available in a few months. It will be our first 1911 in 9mm.
