    New Executive Carry

Picked up a new Executive Carry in Stainless. First 7 rounds from the factory mag were flawless. Next two from a shooting star failed to feed. This was with winchester 230 fmj. next 50 or so were just fine. Tried 3 mags of Remington Golden Sabers and the first one locked the slide back and was fixed by a quick tap roll rack, second one locked the slide up so tight to the rear I had to tap it forward (lightly and carefully) with a rubber mallet. Never had a problem with Golden Sabers before (actually really liked them). After I got the slide loose it felt like something was binding in the slide. Stripped her all down and narrowed it down to the disconnect after the slide and rails were spotless. More cleaning and oil on the disconecter and things have been fine since. couple hundred flawless rounds of 230 fmj, another couple mags of golden sabers, and a few of 230 hydra shoks. I picked up a Crossbreed Superslide for my off duty carry a few months ago and fell in love with it so I grabbed another one for the Executive Carry, got the heat gun out, tightened her up nice and good to go.

love the tail on the EDB's. . only thing I don't like aboutt he EDB is the stamp of what the gun is on the slide. .. I would definitely order without that. other than that - gorgeous gun.
