New PC 1911 Bobtail first range trip

I've had this about a week and I finally made time to go shoot today. I ran 150 rounds through it. 3 different hollow points and 3 different FMJ without any issues. The trigger is phenomenal, very crisp with a short reset. Now I just need to settle on a holster for it.

Thanks for the suggestion. They have some nice holsters. Did you go with the Classic or Master series?

I went with the classic , after paying for my pistol I had a hard time kicking in the extra money for the master , also this is carry and the extra leather of the master I thought might be to thick. I could be wrong and still might get the master afterwards. but at this time I got the classic

I think I'm going to order the Classic Banshee. I don't think I will ever OWB carry it so I don't think I need the Cobra. I think the extra money will go towards a mag carrier. Now the tough part...what color to order the holster in?

Very Nice! I have one in .45 and it's a dream. The PC pistols are excellent.
Very accurate and the triggers are superb. Makes me smile when ever I spend time with it.

Does your round butt PC have a very heavy recoil spring? Mine shoots great but it takes two men and a small boy to pull the slide back to the locked position. The fish scale serrations don't help either.

That is very nice. I like the slide cuts S&W is putting on the slides. Congrats!
