Spottsback, I'd like to see a test target. Been going through this forum and haven't seen one.
Apologies if I missed one.
Denny.
This would be a guess, but if there's a bullseye gun on the horizon, I'd suspect it might be whatever this dude was using:

On a good day, can hit the broad side of a barn ... from the inside
That "Dude" was Gunny Zin, one of the highest rated Bullseye shooters around and the new National Champion for how forget how many times..
We just had a customer who shoots their guns come back from a tour of their facility. He is an engineer by trade (retired) and was totally blown away with the tolerances Cabot is able to hold...he bought/ordered their new Bullseye Gun and said the rear sight is actually milled as part of slide...
He has credibility with me and is not one to compliment a gun unless its deserving...we have a $10k Jones Deluxe I'll try to take a picture of and post..the blueing is so unreal it is hard for a camera to do it justice...I'm saving pennies for the Bullseye gun to be followed by the American Joe...of course the grips will have to be replaced with the stars and bars....
O yeah, I'll try to get a test target and post it also but if Zim is shooting them out of the box and winning Nationals...it's kind of mute...

I knew that. I guess I should have used a sarcasm smiley ... except I don't think we have one.Originally Posted by Spottsback

Come to think of it, I do remember reading the review. I use to be a regular at this site until I decided to open an indoor range. Our GM use to shoot competitively with Gunny and others at Cabot, so Cabot has a special place with us. It is all it's promoted to be, as you probably know. It's been two years since I've had a chance to get back into the real world, and then still not often! We are one of the few approved distributors for Cabot but I did not want to cross any marketing guidelines of the forum....
