On "replacement parts" for Charles Daly 1911's...

There is no more "Charles Daly" - the importer is out of business since 2010.
BUT - internal parts are exactly the same as any other 1911 A1 pistol, and aftermarket or GI parts will fit, same as any other 1911, sometimes with a bit of polishing or filing.

ARMSCOR still sells parts for all of the pistols they made. Yours will be stamped ARMSCOR under the front of the frame if they made it.

See the emails given for RIA pistols for any parts wanted from them and for warrantee service for all 1911's they made. no matter what "brand".

They are great people, service is very good, pistols are excellent quality.

I feel lucky to have mine.

I emailed Armscor to see if they could give me some background on my CD via the serial number. They were quite responsive and helpful. I had heard this to be true but it's always nice when its proven out.
