I noticed it's loaded in cases having a "WILSON" headstamp. That means a handloader with deep pockets might be able to do the same and get personalized new component cases. In addition to being the ultimate ego trip, it would make it easier to find your own brass at the range. Hmm-m-m. Now where did I put my piggy bank....
Cheers

Wonder how many you'd have to buy?
I've used some of the 200 grain version, they shot very well. But did seem to be a bit high priced, especially for range use.

A Google search for "custom headstamp brass" turned up discussions indicating that 10,000 seemed the common minimum order. Not much talk about the cost, though.

Starline does it. Check with them for details.
In the mid to late 1990s, my Wife bought me a Wilson 1911. While it didn't have the "little horse" on it's exterior, it was a great shooting pistol. In November 1998, I went to Wilson Combat with Colt Combat Commander that I wanted to "enhance". As a stroke of luck, Bill was at the counter when I went into the shop. Not only do I appreciate the work they do, but Bill is a very nice man. Cutting to the chase, it didn't take much effort on my part to run the bill up on the modifications to my pistol. Let's just say, the cost was high, but the results were outstanding. Wilson's ammunition is the same, the cost is relatively high when compared to other premium ammo, but the results are outstanding. I've ran Wilson's .45 ACP, 9mm, and .38 Super through my pistols - goes where I aim and goes "Bang" when I pull the trigger. As for the cost, one must ask "How much is your life worth?".

Great review, Hawk, and some darn good shootin', too!
