    Excellent Pistol

I have the same pistol in polished blue and it is quite beautiful. I've added an extended slide stop release to it but otherwise it is stock. I agree with the reviewer that it just feels good in the hand and is easy to shoot well. Mine is carried in my car's glove box (I have CCW) and I would bet my life on it. I've never had a malfunction with it.

Nice informative review on that pistol, I dont recall seeing the approx. cost of one but it looks like it would be a great CCW.

The MSRP is listed in the specifications at the end of the article, as we do for all our reviews. It's $817.

We never attempt to give "street" prices because those fluctuate wildly from one gun shop to another and sometimes from one state to another.

    Talking Iver Johnson "Thrasher"

Just happened to bump into the review. Other than being an SA, the gun is about identical to the Para CCO (and, I presume an SA version who's name I can't recall ). Stripdown is very similar, too. (Good review!)

    The CCO is a world-beater, IMHO. Mini-cannon....

I have a nearly identical Kimber (4") SA ("Compact Custom") that's likewise all but the same gun, but comes with a lockdown pin for use while stripping. While you are likely to lose the pin, this one, at least, can be replaced by most standard paper clips.

Just FWIW, the Act-Mag in 8-rounds is supplied with the RIA Tactical. They look kinda cheap, but seem to be extremely solid. Not a bad choice, IMHO.

No budget, unfortunately, but I wouldn't mind having that one.

    Regards,
    Stu.

Wow....great review. I've been looking for the perfect little .45 for my wife. This may be the one. Thanks
