Very nice captures.
Thanks Hunter. I wish the conditions were better.Originally Posted by Hunter

As far as I am concerned, I do not see any limitations imposed by the D200. It's still a fine camera. I think you were limited by the angle of your lens(es) though), a couple of those pictures could benefit greatly by a wider lens. But then again that's the problem of the DX Nikon cameras. There aren't too many truly wide wideangle lenses for them.
Impressive. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful pics, thanks for sharing!
John, I did have to touch up the images quite a bit with the computer. It was raining most of the time and the sky was gray...not much for popping colors. The limitations came by way of exposure challenges...if I recall, the sensor on the D200 can handle EV 0 to about 19...I may be wrong. My brother's D90 can handle those situations a little better.Originally Posted by John
I agree that the D200 is a fine camera....I love mine to no end. She only has 23K shutter actuations...kinda still breaking in. As for the lens, I only took 1 with me. My stand-by 24-120 Nikkor...it ain't the best that Nikon made but it ain't horrible either. I kept it more in the telephoto range to get more compression on the far away mountain peaks
