I admit that I have bought 2 Glocks, a 17 and 20. I do not like them as much as my Colts for sure. The 17 was because everyone should have a pistol chambered in 9mm and since I did not and really do not like 9mm I was not going to spend a lot of money on it. Meghan and I have been doing quite a bit of hiking and I wanted a better trail gun. I was carrying a Ruger New Model Blackhawk in .45 Colt for the woods (with 340gr LRN about 900 fps) but that was limited to 6 rounds. The 10mm is 180gr at 1350 and 15 rounds plus it is lighter and if something happens to it no big deal.
Still I deserve the ridicule, there are still Glocks but at least they are inexpensive. My buddy Rich at Colt found out and I also got a stiff talking to.

    Excellent shots!

Also, I assume you took the chance to come back at your buddy at Colt, complaining to him about how few 9mms they're making... right? I mean if you of all people, can be driven to buying Glocks, Colt ought to be worried!

(plus, ParaUSA is a NC company now and they make a couple of 9mms..!)
Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold.

Nice photos. Scrolling through the photos the contrast between the expressions of all of the male adults and all children was quite shocking to me, the effects of what would appear a very hard life don't take too long to be incredibly visible!

You have a very valid point. Most of the children seemed very happy while the adults not so much. It was even more evident in talking with them.
