Next person in Line - Get ready!

Sir Luke sent me a tracking number today. Whoever is next, start smiling

Pics when Luke's masterpiece is in my hot, sweaty, little paws.

My FFL was closed yesterday but my Volkmann Precision made it safely to me today. This is one beautiful pistol. The fit and finish (blued) are perfect. I made a short range trip today and after an initial case of the new-gun jitters settled down to getting good groups in the red. Absolutely perfect feeding on JHP and other FMJ. I tried posting a picture on the pictures thread but can not seem to get the forum to recognize the url on my server or realize the picture is in size limits. I will try again later. Until then I will provide a word picture:
    bang - wow!
    bang - wow!
    bang bang bang bang

    Ah, here it is:

(I run the server that is hosting the image and my server's security configuration was preventing the picture from showing up. I shall severely chastise myself for that later.)

This one has Luke's new Battlehook sight with a tritium front sight. The rear sight does not have tritium dots. It is serrated and has a Volkmann logo and two set screws. No worries about that sight falling off or wobbling around when you least expect it. I admit I was a bit concerned about the back sight as my old eyes need all the help that they can get. However, my aim was as good or better than with other sights. My conclusion is the Battlehooks are keepers and they will be on any other build I have done unless Luke comes up with something even better.

As I mentioned earlier, this pistol is amazing and working with Luke is a real pleasure. The pistol's accuracy is spot on. Its function is perfect.

The differences between this pistol and other pistols are quite obvious. The finish positively sparkles. Fit is flawless. I am in total awe and am anticipating ruining my credit rating to buy more of these things.
