Is it up yet? I found the Slim Hawg review but not the 10-8.

Nice write up Hawk. Too bad you had to give it back. :D
Great write-up Hawk.
Excellent article Hawkmoon. It makes me want to add another Nighthawk to the safe (we won't talk about how many are already there). Fortunately for the bank balance, since this particular model isn't California approved, resisting temptation is requires no will power -- it's legally mandated.

It's a great pity this is no gun for Germany. We are not even aloud to own a mountable tactical light or gun laser here in Germany, it would cost us our gun-permit, if a police officer would find anything that is mountable on a gun and looks like a laser, a flashlight or anything else to illuminate the target. :nono:
So, there is no need for any rail-system here in Germany, better to have none on the gun... :(
Otherwise, this one would be for me... ;)
There will be other reviews coming on 1911's that don't have rails on them.
Great right up Hawkmoon.
You mentioned the sights in passing. I'm curious, how did the U-notch that the 10-8 rear sights use perform? They are supposed to be much easier to pick up, especially for those of us with "tired" eyes.
