    That won't work well if the Norinco is a faithful copy of a Colt Commander. The dust cover is short and the recoil spring abutment/rail ends are farther

    I just wanted to be able to swap between the 5 inch GI barrel and slide assembly and the 4 1/4 inch slide assembly. Sarco has some really nice 1911 kits.

    Welcome to the forum. Generally frame small parts interchange with full length pistols. LW and Combat Commander parts should interchange.
