Hi from Ohio

I'm a new member.
Just rejoined the 1911 fraternity having purchased a SS Kimber Pro Carry II -bought it because I missed the Kimber Classic I sold 5 years ago.
Bought the pistol and then made the mistake of reading all the negative comments about Kimber on another site.
Well, I put 150 rounds through it (including WWB ball, Hydra Shocks and Gold Dots) with 1 failure to eject and and 1 failure to feed) which were both my fault for weak gripping it.

Now I remember why I loved my first Kimber!

Looking forward to learning a lot from the other members.

Glad to have you on board the forum! Kimber is a fine weapon; opinions are just that opinions. Bad press normally comes, on the rare occasion, when a possible lemon shows-up in any make or model.

Be safe
