Help on Mfg. Date on Officers Model
I saw an officers model online that I may be interested in, but don't know as much about them as I would like. The slide is polished stainless, the frame looks like a matte finish. It doesn't mention being lightweight. Would the serial number LF06490E tell me whether it's lightweight or not? thanks, George

I'm going to guess that the 'L' indicates a lightweight, and that the final 'E' is for "Enhanced."
Slanted cocking serrations?

Thanks for the response. The L and E make sense. Yes, it does have the slanted serrations. What does that tell you?
