After shooting 500 rounds though my TRS, I went to strip it for cleaning, and I could not get the bushing out. Talk about tight! I thought I was going to break the bushing wrench. I figured before I get too physical I'd post here and see what I'm missing. Any experience with removing an extremely tight bushing????

Push the slide back by half an inch or so, and try to turn the bushing with the slide held at that position. It might not facilitate the removal of the bushing, but if the fit is as tight between the barrel and the bushing, as it is between the slide and the bushing, it will prevent you damaging the barrel.

Does this pistol have a full length recoil spring guide rod? If so, then pushing the slide back won't help. I've also seen pistols where the end of that full length rod was just a wee bit too long and would drag on the bushing as you try to turn it.

No full length guide rod.

Here's the official les Baer take down instruction per Baer.
Remove Mag and check chamber for "Clear".
Pull slide stop back and line up slide stop notch in slide with slide stop.
Push out slide stop and ease slide foward off of frame. Wrap your hand under gun as the recoil spring may bow out. Once the slide is off the frame, the rear recoil spring plug, Recoil spring. and the front plug comes out the rear.
Push the Barrel forward in the slide, turn the bushing to the right and use the barrel to tap the Bushing forward out of the slide with the barrel.
The bushing can be removed from the barrel. Reassemble in reverse.

This sound tough to do. But once you get the hang of it it really is easy. It saves wear and tear on the front recoil spring plug and bushing wrenches.
