I got a standard P14 this week with the plastic grips. When I shot, my left hand was moving around all over the place using the Enos style isoceles grip. I noticed that the spot where I really needed the traction was the area between the plastic grip and the backstrap which has a nice smooth teflon finish to it.
Does anyone make a checkered grip that covers this area or is it even practical to do so? Or, for those more experienced than me, does a standard pair of checkered wood grips fix this problem?
