I drank the POLYMER KOOL-AID!

Well I drank the kool-aid. And purchased a Springfield XD .40 in April.

But came to my senses and sold it today. I now have a KIMBER Stainless Ultra Carry II .45.

Please forgive me for my ignorance in buying a polymer handgun!

XDs are fine pistols. No shame there.

But there's nothing quite like the feel of a 1911 in your hand. It just fits.
