PM10-B in 45ACP?
I e-mailed the serial # of my Pointman Major to Bob Serva at DW, and he wrote back to me that it was a model PM10-B. I haven't been able to find anything on that model other than it is supposed to be a 10mm, but mine is 45ACP (soon to be 400 Corbon).
Has anyone heard of a PM10 in 45ACP? Fluke or possibly a Custom gun? |

Interesting, I would think the model designation PM10-B would mean Point Man, 10mm- blued. Did you buy this new or used?

This is a used Pointman Major, it bears a resemblance to the PM1-B (45ACP version), but when I checked the serial # with Bob Serva (owner of DW Firearms) he informed me that it was a PM10-B. We have been e-mailing back and forth over the last couple days, but he cannot give me much else on it other that the frames on the PM10 and PM1 are identical. The lazer engravings on the slide indicate a PM10, and the serial number belongs to a PM10 originally chambered for 45ACP. It's just a curious piece. Accurate as hell, no malfunctions of any kind, and all operations are smooth as butter.
I'm not looking to sell it or anything, just trying to establish a history. |
