The M1911 Knife from Ultimate Equipment

I would like to welcome Ultimate Equipment in our group of Sponsors.

As some of you already know, Terry is the designer and maker of the M1911 folding knife, a very nice tool for all those who consider a fighting folder a necessary part of their carrying outfit.

Terry and I are working together, and pretty soon there will be an M1911.ORG version of Terry's knife, which will be sold here.

In the mean time, here is a picture of Terry's knife.

Many more can be seen here:

Welcome on board Terry!

John it is indeed a very nice 1911 knife!!! I have talked with Terry via PM's about it. It is good to know that a M1911.ORG version will be available. I will have to get one when they become available!!!

Terry, thanks for creating a fantastic partner to our trusty 1911's!!!!!

It is indeed a beautiful piece of art. Can't wait to see the M1911.ORG version but it will be hard to beat the dark blade with dark scales that's pictured. The Ultimate Equipment website doesn't give information as to what's available now or how to order.

Thank you, John.

Yes, the web site is still under construction. I will try to have some more info uploaded in a few days, and hopefully an online web store set up in 10 days' time.

At this moment, please feel free to contact me by PM or email: terry @ ultimate-equipment to ask questions, or place an order.

Thanks,
Terry

Folks, the M1911.ORG changes to the basic knife will be very subtle. There will probably be a knife coming with wooden grips, which will be laser-etched with our name on them. The sheaths will also probable be different. Me and Terry are discussing the details right now, we hopefully have results and some pictures for you to see, in a couple of days.

For details on what's available and how to order, call Terry or PM him. Whenever you do that, ask if the M1911.ORG knife is ready, and I am sure Terry will be glad to give you all the details.

M1911 Folder

Good Day All

I just recieved my m1911 folder today and was suprised to see wavy grind's on the hollow ground part of the blade, one side is worse than the other and there is vertical and horizontal play in the blade. But it look's nice.
I guess this one slipped by QC

Take Care

Hi Tatsudoshi,
Sorry to know that you found these problems on the blade. All of my blades are covered with limited life-time warranty. Please contact me, and send the knife back to me. I will send you a new knife or a refund if you wish. Thanks.
Terry

Thank's Terry
I have e-mailed you about the problem. Also I wanted to know if I can send it via UPS as I use UPS at work, I'm only in the next province.

Take Care
