i would like to thank 1911 tuner for his help diagnosing my problem on my 1911.he knows his stuff. not very often do i see people willing to help. thanks.

Howdy stumbler,

He noticed a "click" in the trigger when he released it. It was a spec issue between the length of the disconnect and the timing slot in the slide rail.
He scraped the slot a little deeper and cured it.
