Please note that the forums in this category are to be used to ask questions or to show us pistols from these manufacturers. They can also be used to ask questions about the parts of a particular pistol from one of these manufacturers, as long as the question relates to the original parts.

  • If your pistol malfunctions and you want to ask for help on how to troubleshoot it, post your question in the "Gunsmithing and Refinishing" forum, not in this one.
  • If you want to ask questions about after-market parts, these questions should go in the "Parts - Grips" forum, not in the manufacturers forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about after-market magazines, these questions should go in the "Magazines" forum, not in these forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about holsters, those questions should go in the "Holsters" forum, not in these forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about conversion kits, those questions should go in the "Conversion Kits" forum, not these forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about which ammo to use with your pistol, those questions should be posted in the "Ammo" forum, not these forums.

Messages with questions for after-market parts, magazines, holsters, conversion kits, ammo etc. will be moved to the proper forum and a warning will be issued.

Wondering if should sell norks

I will try to be careful here as to not have a misplaced thread. I have come into some empty pocket problems and may need to liquidate a couple of norincos, I am wondering if I should let the commander or the GM go. hopefully not both. Iam having a hard time deciding, kind of like picking a favorite kid. I dont have a clue as to value on either one. Only what I paid for them. There are posts on the commander else where on this forum, and the GM has maybe 50 rnds through it. I havent fired either of them, so I cant say much about accuracy. I throw myself on the mercy of the forum. What should I do? Iam still hurt over having to let my 45 LC mountain gun go.

Been looking for a Commander for some time now. Let me know your thoughts if this is the one you wish to release. Will give it a good home!

Regards,

I also have been looking for a Commander, but the other gentlemen were first.

In doing some dimension checking I found out that the commander with the colt barrel, has vertical lug engagment of.036 wich if it is safe is on the lower limits as far as I can tell. Until I find out if putting in the standard link wich is longer than the one in it now, helps I guess I will have to hang on to them. thank You for the input and help guys. I cant in good concience sell these without checking them both out thoroughly, first. I consider You all friends and dont want to sell an unknown item. a good rep is hard to get, a bad rep is hard to get away from. Thank You.
