Colt Collectors, attention please.

I was at my FFL dealer's shop on friday and he has a new, unfired, uncocked collector Colt in his display case. It was made in 1985 and only three were made for the owners of the top three Colt distributors in the U.S. and were given to these three men gratis. My FFL has the first of three. It is the "01985XS" model of 1911-A1 and has S/N P.R.M. 001. It is fully hand engraved, both slide and frame, and the engraving even goes under the slide lock and thumb safety. It is really beautiful but WAY out of my price range and I only buy shooters anyway.

If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM and I will give you contact info for the dealer here in Michigan. I get no "cut" or anything for this, just thought somebody might be interested.

Rabbi

Would it be possible to have a couple of pictures of this gun? It would be nice to have such a limited-production pics and story in M1911.ORG.

John,

I will call him later today and see if he has pics or if he'll let me take a couple.

P/S) BIG congratulations to Greece on the soccer title. Well done.
