Please note that the forums in this category are to be used to ask questions or to show us pistols from these manufacturers. They can also be used to ask questions about the parts of a particular pistol from one of these manufacturers, as long as the question relates to the original parts.

  • If your pistol malfunctions and you want to ask for help on how to troubleshoot it, post your question in the "Gunsmithing and Refinishing" forum, not in this one.
  • If you want to ask questions about after-market parts, these questions should go in the "Parts - Grips" forum, not in the manufacturers forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about after-market magazines, these questions should go in the "Magazines" forum, not in these forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about holsters, those questions should go in the "Holsters" forum, not in these forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about conversion kits, those questions should go in the "Conversion Kits" forum, not these forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about which ammo to use with your pistol, those questions should be posted in the "Ammo" forum, not these forums.

Messages with questions for after-market parts, magazines, holsters, conversion kits, ammo etc. will be moved to the proper forum and a warning will be issued.

Thumbs up
Charles Daly Class Act!!

Hello all, I received my CD back today after having it sent in for sight issues. I sent the gun and 2 magazines that originally came with to Charles Daly. To my surprise when I opened the gun case there was my gun with 3 magazines!!! Now that was what I feel is going the extra to give that special type of Service!!! There is a example of a Class Act!!! I haven't had a chance to shoot my gun yet, but they included the target and notes on my gun and the loads they used to determine where the point of impact is at. Thankyou very much Charles Daly/ Michael Kassnar!!

gqucool1911 my friend I wouldn't be getting that excited and giving quite that much praise all over 1 free magazine especially if I hadn't had a chance to try it out . Heck I've gotten similar treatment from Midway USA several times and all it took was 1 phone call and they made things right within 2 days , no follow up calls and weeks of miss communication like you had with Daly over this .

Now if they had sent you a half a dozen new Wilson 47D's Hmm that would be a different story .

You need to get that pistol to a range with marked distances and bench it to see if it is sighted in correctly especially for you and the loads you depend on for defense .

Triguy thanks for the comments, I know Big O personally he is a very nice guy! Yes Big O I did have some delays, but they did not have to send me the extra magazine, I feel that was going the extra mile to show that they do care. Big O buddy I will take my CD out and do some range tests with the gun. I did recieve a target that was used with my gun with also the loads and bullet weights used and the range that it was tested at. So I will make certain that it is shooting correctly with a bench rest as suggested! But come on, 6 new Wilson 47D's now thats expecting alot!!! I have gotten over it as triguy as stated. I have moved on to better things!!!!

gqucool1911,

I have always had excellent service from my Charles Daly and the company's customer service. I agree, the extra mag was a nice touch. Certainly an extra magazine won't break the company but it shows they care about their customers. Let us know how it does at the range.

Bill
