Why no light rail on Ed Brown 1911's??
I am wondering why Ed Brown has not put a light rail option on their 1911s. I understand the tradionalist view that it detracts from the overall look, however, why not put the option out there for those like me that are interested in carrying an Ed Brown but don't due to the fact that a light rail option is not offered. I say this because I am a police officer and I currently carry a Kimber TLE w/ light rail and a Surefire X-200 attached to it. For me a light rail is an important feature to have being that my gun is also an important tool and doing building searches with a light on the gun is important,
thanks for any input!

To each his own on this "light rail" stuff but for me I prefer not to have a light on my gun. I much prefer that the bad guy be back lighted with me in the dark and no light giving away my exact position. It would be interesting to know why Brown has not offered this option.
Best, Don |
