I've never seen one, nor can I imagine a need for one in stainless. I looked for a Commander length for quite a while, then realized the material made no difference in the function. And no one can tell!

I went looking for one as well

But was unable to find one. I suppose, if you had to have one, you could cut down a one piece full length guide rod and round over the end. But like Chuck said, no one but you will ever know. Having said that, I do understand the problem of knowing it's there, I have a similar problem.

I've looked also, but I couldn't find one. Did SS Colt's come with an SS guide rod? If so, Brownell's should have that part. I also wonder if some high end low volume part supplier like Les Baer makes this part. I emailed them. It was the only part in their online catalog without any description! I would also try RRA.

EGW would probably make this since they can make almost anything. I would guess it would carry a slight premium because of the additional cutting, but not much. I'm not sure.
