Please note that the forums in this category are to be used to ask questions or to show us pistols from these manufacturers. They can also be used to ask questions about the parts of a particular pistol from one of these manufacturers, as long as the question relates to the original parts.

  • If your pistol malfunctions and you want to ask for help on how to troubleshoot it, post your question in the "Gunsmithing and Refinishing" forum, not in this one.
  • If you want to ask questions about after-market parts, these questions should go in the "Parts - Grips" forum, not in the manufacturers forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about after-market magazines, these questions should go in the "Magazines" forum, not in these forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about holsters, those questions should go in the "Holsters" forum, not in these forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about conversion kits, those questions should go in the "Conversion Kits" forum, not these forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about which ammo to use with your pistol, those questions should be posted in the "Ammo" forum, not these forums.

Messages with questions for after-market parts, magazines, holsters, conversion kits, ammo etc. will be moved to the proper forum and a warning will be issued.

2 Sig's a comin

Hello, I thought I would post a few days ahead that I have 2 sig 1911's that should be in my hands the middle of next week. It's a nitron gsr revolution and a nitron compact. I fully understand that some have had problems with them and am prepared to "tweak" them if necessary, but they are shot show guns that look like they have never been out of the box with the same lifetime warranty at a price I couldn't pass up. I have done just about everything imaginable to 1911's and have the patience to deal with any problems (I think). I will post pic's when they get here.

Oh, I also have a Sig p220 Super Match (sao) and a p220 Elite carry.

Picked up my Revolution Nitron with rail on Monday, I am just 20 minutes away from Bud's. Happy to day it is solid, much better then my first Gen GSR that quickly turned into a paper weight.

Feeds smoothly, excellent fit and finish, and the trigger is smoothing out nicely. I will probably have Bruce Gray do some custom work for me, but for the price it is a absolute no brainer and .

My only problem is, should I get another full size and have a matched pair or a compact/carry?

I went the compact route instead of the carry. I carry concealed and I plan on getting the x-grip. That way I can use it as is with an officers grip or pop in an 8 round mag with the x-grip to make it like the carry model.

After carrying 1911's for years I am starting to get used to the p220 carry elite, the compact may be in a backup spot. Don't know yet.

No problem, looks like a good product. The one pistol I got was mislabeled and it's a carry instead of a compact, and I'm going to keep it but I may still have a compact in my future. How about a review when you get them?
