Hogue Monogrip and Ambi safety

Does anyone know if the Hogue Monogrip will press down on the ambidexturous safety (on the right grip panel)?

I bought a set of Pachmyer grips that aren't relieved enough for either the safety paddle (on top of the grip panel) or the metal slide that is typically covered by the panel.

Finding a rubber, finger grooved grip that works with an ambi safety has become a problem.

yes it will, I have Hogues and you will have to cut the grips for a relief for the safety to fit, I had to cut out part of the very top of the grip for the thumb paddle, and had to make reliefs on the bottom for the magwell that slides over the grip screws, take a little time and little bits of material and you can make it work

what kind of pachmayr?

I have pachmayr american legend grips on one of my 1911's and they did'nt effect my ambi-safety. I don't know which grips you bought but if there different you might try the american legend. I really like mine.
