I got my Level III when a co-worker died. Another co-worker was selling off a collection of 1911s for the widow. I was offered this one for $750 and a hardchromed Special Combat for $850. when i came in with the money the guy had found a reciept for the SC at $1,350. He said if it was his he'd sell it for the original offered price but since it the proceeds were going to the widow he wanted what was originally paid. i didnt have the extra money so i didnt get it...
I still havent fired my Tactical and it came with rubber grips. Ive never seen nor heard of any others, till now....
