Slimline Alumagrips for doublestack Paras?

I'm not a big fan of plastic on my Para-Ordnance P-14, and would like to replace the grips. The slimline Alumagrips sound tempting, but I can't figure out if they would be compatible with a P-14. If so, how would they compare in thickness to the stock P-14 plastic grips (I have small hands, so I don't want to go any thicker)?
Finally, I can't find any information on their website about the Tactical Checkered grips--are they just too new to be on the website? Are they offered in the slimline configuration?

Moderators, if this would be more appropriate in the Para forum, feel free to move it, and I apologize.

EDIT: I figured things out (finally--I don't have the quickest mind in the world) with regard to the Tactical Checkered--still don't know about Alumagrips on a Doublestack Para, though.

Write an e-mail to Chris Lynch the owner of Alumagrips and ask him, or get him over the phone. He is a great guy and friend. Also consider buying the M1911.ORG grips, if he can make them in your configuration, they help this site stay alive.

I'll give them a call. I don't think engraving is an option with the Tactical Checkered configuration I want--but I'll see.

I did make a small donation, though.
