Please note that the forums in this category are to be used to ask questions or to show us pistols from these manufacturers. They can also be used to ask questions about the parts of a particular pistol from one of these manufacturers, as long as the question relates to the original parts.
Messages with questions for after-market parts, magazines, holsters, conversion kits, ammo etc. will be moved to the proper forum and a warning will be issued. IMPORTANT: In Photo-threads, each post should contain at least one picture of your own. Quoting a previous post, does not make your post compliant with that requirement. Just bought one used....
shoots okay, had many glitches, though: slide pin walks out, front sight was loose, grip safety was a touch unreliable, ejector did not go over the rim of the round, keeping slide open.
What I liked: very light, short butt makes for easier concealability, 4" barrel gives a good sighting distance for me and the recoil spring is much lighter than on the Springfield Micros. By the way, my factory mags hold 6 rounds and are flush to the bottom of the butt. Also, my Compact had Trijicon night sights Sent if off to Jack Fuselier to have it and the mags nickel plated and the glitches taken care of. Also, am planning to install a short triger. This is my first 1911 and I really like the single action trigger. |
