Please note that the forums in this category are to be used to ask questions or to show us pistols from these manufacturers. They can also be used to ask questions about the parts of a particular pistol from one of these manufacturers, as long as the question relates to the original parts.
Messages with questions for after-market parts, magazines, holsters, conversion kits, ammo etc. will be moved to the proper forum and a warning will be issued. IMPORTANT: In Photo-threads, each post should contain at least one picture of your own. Quoting a previous post, does not make your post compliant with that requirement. Photo threads are NOT for chatting. |

Is this Normal?
I just finished the breakin period on my TLE II. I only had 1 FTF in the first 500 rounds. However I have noticed that occasionally when the case is ejected it will be thrown much further than normal (~15ft), and the brass will have excessive scoring on the outside.
Most spent cases are thrown around 5-10ft and the brass doesn't have any kind of scoring. At first I thought it was the ammo I was using but it has done this with CCI Brass Blazer, Remington 230gr MC, and Winchester 230gr FMJ (White Box). I personally don't notice any difference when firing the gun, but I'm just wondering if it's something I should be worried about? Sorry if this is a dumb questions this is my first Semi-Auto pistol. |

Doesn't sound like anything to worry about yet. Be sure and clean the chamber. The best way is with a .50 cal bore brush......just do the chamber, don't run it down the bore.

Sometimes the cheap practice ammo varies in quality. You will sometimes hear "blam, blam, blam, boom, blam" when firing this stuff.
