Custom Para Ordnace Grips

Does anyone know of a custom grip maker who makes grips for the Para Ordnance. Looking for something for my P14's.

Caspian sells a nice set of wood grips for their hi capacity frames... I believe they will also fit the Para's... http://www.caspianarms.com/Merchant...tegory_Code=R13

These will NOT fit a Para. The Para grips need to have those tabs at the rear, to cover the trigger bow. These ones do not have them.

I do not think you will find Aluminum ones, unless you can convince my friend Chris Lynch @ Alumagrips to make some. I know he is involved with another project these days, so I doubt that you should hold your breath for them.

By the way, did you check GunGrips.NET, the banner is at the Sponsors Panel. They have some PO grips. Darn, how did I forget that!

Yes John I did try them. I will keep looking and if we cry enough we might get the fine folks at Alumagrips to make us some. Thanks

Have found out that Smith and Alexander makes Macarta grips for the Para's have many styles to choose from. Also got e-mail back from Alumgrips and they are in the planning stages now but it will be a while the nice lady said. Thanks Brad

Springfield for Para Swap

My Springfield High Capacity (Para clone) has a micarta-like grip. Hard rubber, No nonsense black , no logo, with about 25 LPI checkering.

Available from the Springfield web site. I've read here that Para grips can be adapted to the springer high cap, I assume (no first hand knowledge) visey-versy?

Hogue makes a nice Para wrap around rubber grip(Pachmyre-esque) that they say can be cut down to panels only.

Good luck, please report back.
