Full field-stripping video?
m1911.org's disassembly guide is excellent and informative, even to a complete gun newbie like myself. The only way it could get better in my opinion is if there were videos of the basic field-stripping process (not the whole disassembly process!) to complement the videos of slide stop insertion. I know, this is asking quite a bit, but it's just one small suggestion to make this already excellent site even better.

You could divide the video into segments. That doesn't get around the second problem, though!

Greetings,
HungSquirrel, I believe either Wilson Combat or AGI sells a video series for the 1911, I believe the first in the series is full of the more basic 1911 info, including a basic field strip, and possibly an advanced detail strip (you'll have to find out). If you're wanting a video period, and not just suggesting one for this wonderful forum, this may be a good option. Check out Brownell's.. (http://www.brownells.com) and look for '1911 Videos'. Good luck, God Bless. -Nikolai
